White minimalist decor is the height of cool and sophisticated refinement. With all excess removed and focus set firmly on functionality, the result is sharp stylish living spaces like these four pristine examples. We’ll take a wander around one flat and flawless living room with a hidden kitchen and hideaway TV/media wall, and discover a barely there bathroom. Next we’ll feel our way around the curves of a softly minimalist living room, in a white home decor scheme with some colourful relief. Third up is a vision of concrete, stone and terrazzo with warm natural infusions, finishing up last but not least in a solidly monochrome minimalist moment.

Flat, white and flawless. The living room in minimalist home tour number one has a low slung white modern sofa that skims a seamless white floor.

A kitchen opens up at one side of the living room, where it was once concealed by sliding white doors.

More secretive white doors hide away the TV and media paraphernalia. White interior doors stand unusually tall and frameless at either side of the wall hung media cabinet.

A white modern dining table stretches out behind the sofa, equipped to seat six hungry minimalists beneath a black linear suspension light.

Two bar stools perch at a square kitchen island, opposite the cooking hob.

The electric induction hob has an integrated hood, so as not to detract from the minimalist essence of the room.

Pale wood effect wraps the base of the white kitchen island, to add a little warmth to the crisp white decor. The legs of the kitchen bar stools echo the same wood tone.

Aside from the hob, all other kitchen appliances are fitted behind the tall concealing kitchen cabinet doors.

The doors slide aside and inward so that all sections of the kitchen can be used in an easy fluid fashion.

White latticework patterns a set of interior sliding glass doors.

The sliding glass doors are installed to seal off the home entryway, providing a level of privacy for those inside the living room when the front door is opened to callers–and to keep out draughts.

A bank of storage is situated to one side of the white hallway, whilst frameless white interior doors occupy the other.

The minimalist white bathroom is so refined that it takes a moment to recognise its function. Boxy bathroom furniture protrudes from clean white walls. White bathroom storage cabinets go almost unnoticed alongside.

With the bathroom’s ambient light setting activated, the clinical white box is transformed into an intriguing, almost snug little area.

Black fixtures and fittings mark the walls of the minimalist bathroom , like ink blots on a crisp white paper.

The second white minimalist interior we’re going to look has a colour infusion of yellow ochre, which plays on a matt gold effect inside the smooth white space. The minimalist living room furniture has softly curving outlines that gives the room friendly appeal. A black round coffee table stamps its mark on a spotless white area rug.

A small side table holds a gold tipped vase. The golden accent ties in prettily with the yellow scatter cushions on the 3 piece suite.

A rounded dining room pendant light descends on a black round dining table . The set nuzzles into the kitchen area, standing out darkly against the kitchen’s pure white units.

Inside the minimalist bedroom , there’s a different colour pop. Pale pink pillows cross a white a woodtone bed. The Menu JWDA table lamp adds a moment of gold on the bedside table.

A second bedroom is infused with elements of blue, with a blue comforter and blue throw dressing the platform bed . A gold coated bedroom pendant light drops in the metallic flourish.

Gold takes on a greater role in the bathroom, colouring every fixture and frame.

Two small wall sconces add golden light.

The third minimalist home design is a conceptual residence, entitled ‘Pale’. The white living room designed with bright, flat enlarged spaces that maximise as much natural light as possible. Brown accent chairs and wood tone elements add warmth to the palette.

In another part of the relaxation area, a round coffee table sits its concrete weight onto a light grey area rug. Concrete floors push out from under it.

Brown hues make their way into the wall art too.

A JWDA concrete table lamp extends the theme set by the concrete coffee table and raw floors–though here we see a transition into terrazzo.

A glass vase brings sheen to another table.

Golden accents lift the look.

fill a wood and glass sideboard.

Cane dining chairs encircle a concrete dining table. Rustic decorative vases are clustered together in varying heights as a modern table centrepiece.

A minimalist kitchen sink is set within the concrete worktop.

A dipped shelf in the concrete supports the kitchen tap.

Autumnal shades make a cozy bedroom scheme.

Fitted wardrobes keep the layout streamlined.

Nature’s influence quietens the soul.

Black and white decor builds a harder hitting minimalist scheme in home tour number four.

A black corner sofa dominates the white living room. Lighter grey window drapes fall into the background.

The living room runs around in an L-shape to the kitchen diner.

A sputnik chandelier is the crowning glory of the minimalist dining room. Walls in this open plan are kept free of decoration, except for one stand-out wall clock. See more unique wall clocks here.
Elegance and class exude from these two modern home interiors, each created by the team at Hilight Design . Light and luxurious decor filled with top notch materials and slick furniture are all set to impress, executed with the upmost decorum. Our first interior also has the added spectacle of a classic car section mounted to the wall, to reflect the owners personal interests. The second tour is a show home made to have a universal appeal; the enticing modern home design is welcoming and comfortable, with a spike of added ‘wow’. Would you be tempted to move in? Or would you be bartering with the owner of home number one for the key?

Our first tour takes place in a modern flat in Warsaw, Poland. After having discussed various routes for design development with the homeowner, the design team created an elegant interior that is inspired by classic materials and finishes. The living room is open and airy, with a modern chandelier bringing in shape and interest.

on stands flank either end of a light grey corner sofa. Black accent cushions are scattered across the light sofa upholstery, which helps the black speaker casings blend in.

The TV wall is a smart wood and stone clad creation, where bespoke storage cabinets frame out the screen.

An open shelf crosses the bottom of the media wall to store books. A neat glass vase dresses the top of a small side table by an accent chair , which makes a comfortable reading spot by the book shelf.

The homeowner is a big fan of antique motorcars, which is evident in wall decor: Part of an old classic car is hanging on a stone clad wall that partially divides the kitchen from the living room. Recessed lighting in the ceiling seam washes down the impressive display.

A full height window floods light into the kitchen and its dining area. A gold dining room chandelier drops a stylish touch over the modern table and chairs set.

On the opposite side of the wall that displays classic car parts, there is a wall of full height kitchen cabinets and integrated appliances.

A skylight brings natural light into the hallway of the home. LEDs climb the sides of the wooden staircase .

A book tower adds a small decorative touch to the foyer.

Bespoke closets include a nook for a cushioned shoe bench.

Interior doors are colour coordinated with the wall decor.

The minimalist home office is a hot spot of colour. Red walls, floor area and a red ceiling strip make a frame around red cabinets. A white swivel chair stands out crisply against the colour.

The bedroom has a green bed–and a bed of greenery. Indoor plants grow from a planter section in a unique chest of drawers concept.

A stylish bedroom pendant light dangles in front of a wood grain wall; a floor lamp takes up the spot on the opposite side of the green bed, where ribbed white panelling clads the rest of the room’s length.

Tasteful bright spaces with wood and stone grey elements give the home a timeless appeal.

The bedroom door is designed to blend harmoniously with wood effect fitted wardrobes.

A black ceiling caps the bathroom scheme, above a wood and stone modern bathroom vanity .

The wood effect continues inside of the shower enclosure, giving the space a luxury sauna-like appeal.

More wood panels smooth over the cistern wall.

A stunning bathtub is hiked up on black metal legs, which makes the floor area seem more spacious.

The second shower room on the tour offers a lighter look in white and grey.

A black ceiling gives the light scheme some weight.

Our second tour is a show home, so a universally alluring design had to be achieved. The solution was found in attractive materials and furniture that also offer welcoming comfort.

Upon entering the living area, we find an unusual dual sided sofa, served by a luxe small side table with a marble stem.

A gold floor lamp points over one end of the modern sofa , and also a large indoor plant that adds vibrancy to the room.

The eating area of the home is positioned in the space just behind, anchored by a gold dining room chandelier . Gold dining chairs encircle the round table.

A deep stone slab supports the hob area in the kitchen, drawing on the striking beauty of the stone backsplash.

In the bedroom, one bedside table lamp is positioned on the window side, whilst two floor lamps are joined at the base on the other.

Smoked glass closet doors and interior closet lighting build a wall of luxe and sophistication.

A marbled and ribbed feature wall patterns another bedroom design. A winged bedroom chair adds a heavy black base note to the ethereal decor.

The black stem of a unique bedroom light draws a frame around the head of the bed.

Seamless walls of light illuminate the walk in wardrobe .

Glass shelves let light flow through.

Gold fixtures enrich a white bathroom design. A golden drawer beneath the vanity looks like a treasure box. See more minimalist bathrooms .

Stunning monochrome stone slabs streak the walls. A white flat-faced vertical radiator has slots for warming towels.

Even the shower screen is mildly tinted in a soft golden hue. The elegant glass adds an extra strip of colour warmth to the room.
