In the chic haunts of Paris, style is elegant yet comfortable. This goes for clothing fashion and home interiors alike. Just as we’re inspired by the Parisian catwalk to fill our wardrobes, inspiration from fabulous French home interiors spreads across the globe too. Europe has been looking to Paris since the reign of Louis XIV, when luxury goods came under royal control. Today, it’s not the French royal court that’s in position as the arbiter of taste and style but the visualisers of these three sophisticated home concepts. Come with us as we tour luxurious Parisian chic living rooms, beautiful dining rooms, tasteful kitchens, and fashionable bedrooms - Oh là là!

Visualizer:Elemental Design
We enter our first Parisian home in the living room, where generous windows bring in uplifting natural sunlight. Above the lounge, a modern chandelier hangs from a classic ceiling rose; its opaque white finish melds softly with the warm off-white wall stucco.

A curved sofa design gracefully skims the perimeter of the room, embracing the edge of a chic, circular stone coffee table. A dividing wall between the lounge and the kitchen contains two arched shelving units, constructed inside to add elegant architectural interest. A built-in planter makes an attractive bed for indoor plants.

On the other side of the round coffee table , a rounded armchair brings an earthy brown hue into the mix.

The inviting armchair is the Pacha lounge chair , designed by Pierre Paulin for Gubi.

The floor level is raised beneath the dining area, which grandly defines the space. The construction of twin arches is repeated on this side of the dividing wall to serve the dining room with a decorative touch. A round mirror complements the arches, whilst a rectangle dining table sharply contradicts the architectural curves.

The dining room connects openly to an L-shaped kitchen, which carries an understated, tasteful aesthetic in natural wood and clean white cabinets.

A beige upholstered bed interrupts the predominantly white bedroom decor scheme. An interesting undulation in the headboard wall is picked out in the same shade, with a stylish bedroom pendant light layered in front.

Made-to-measure wardrobes keep the bedroom layout simple and streamlined.

A round rug circles the bed and ends beneath a modern media unit. A half-height TV wall divides the sleep space from a dressing area.

Black shelf inserts provide dark punctuation throughout the fresh white scheme.

A soft grey feature wall attractively defines the recessed vanity table area. A round wall mirror brings a reflection of light into the nook.

The kids’ bedroom is the stuff of children’s dreams. A kids’ gym is at the ready to burn off some energy and a cute wall mural guides the way to a cosy play attic above the bed. See more inspiration for kids’ beds .

Green accents colourfully mark out kids’ bookshelves and a reading nook by the window. The eye-catching kid’s chair is a Serie Up 2000.

More precious book storage is tucked beneath the staircase that leads to the play bunk.

A kids’ desk slots in underneath the bedroom window, fashioning a peaceful spot for homework.

The next Parisian chic home has a lounge layout that’s constructed with curves. A curved sofa sits upon a round rug, where three curvaceous nesting tables assemble. An arc floor lamp rounds out one side of the arrangement, whilst a modern magazine holder drops inverted arches at the other.

A sculptural, curvy chaise lounge chair bends beneath a piece of striking wall art.

Within the same large living space, a second lounge area is shaped with a more linear aesthetic, including a rectangle rug and a contemporary linear sofa. The slimline, minimalist lamp is a Sampei floor lamp , designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese.

A half-height dividing wall sets a third lounge area apart from the previous two. An intriguing mobile and a unique small side table infuse the space with artistic influence. A large area rug calms the ensemble with a cool silvery tone.

The dividing wall makes a central mount for the TV. Elegant display shelves flank either side.

Line art supplies a focal point above a modern console table.

Indoor plants and an intriguing table lamp adorn a second stylish console table.

The dining room is situated at the centre of the large living space, perfectly placed as a congregational spot for guests. A trio of dining room pendant lights drop eye-catching black wireframe discs along the large dining table, where modern upholstered dining chairs seat eight people.

The kitchen is a wide U-shaped installation with an island at its centre.

Subtle white marble countertops complete the wooden kitchen island , whilst a busier vein tops the grey base units that surround it. See more ideas for marble kitchens .

Three wooden bar stools meld with the natural timber kitchen island. Upper cabinets and open kitchen shelving match in honey-coloured grain.

The master bedroom is an avant garde design, with blue accents and a plethora of arches. A blue bedroom rug spreads the accent colour over heritage parquet flooring.

The end of bed bench has an unusual bolster cushion design, which complements the narrow arches that shape the unique headboard.

A full length mirror takes the arch theme to the opposite end of the room.

A designer bedroom chair catches the eye with a fabulous, scrolled profile.

Our final modern french interior design is a light-filled home with bold black elements.

A gilded mirror regally crowns a traditional fireplace.

In the kitchen, black units make a stark statement.

A gold linear chandelier visually anchors the dining spot in the open plan.

The bedroom is a light and romantic decor scheme under a pretty mother of pearl pendant shade.

Black wall lights draw interesting black linework across the soft white wainscot headboard wall.

A tall pocket door gives entry into a walk-in wardrobe.

At the foot of the bed, a gold vanity mirror brightly accessorises a black dressing nook.

City views sweep around a spectacular kids’ play space with a hanging bubble chair. A black accent chair marks the kid’s workspace.

A double sink bathroom vanity area is fashioned with two modern pedestal sinks and en vogue racetrack-shaped bathroom mirrors .
takes advantage of its rare position by fully absorbing 270-degrees of unobstructed beach views through massive edge-to-edge windows. Whilst the villa enjoys this spectacular position, it is conveniently located to enjoy easy accessibility of the main road in just 2 minutes drive, giving the homeowners the best of both worlds. With 5 Bedrooms and 6 Bathrooms, the owners can comfortably open up their home to extended family and friends as overnight guests. The contemporary 3 storey villa also boasts a large freeform infinity-edge pool on an expansive terrace, a massage room and a separate spa, beautiful tropical gardens and lush manicured lawns.

Completed in 2018 this fabulous 1713 square metre villa stands on a 2600 square metre plot on a coastal hillside. The sloped site is thick with tropical vegetation and palm trees that give the home a lush green backdrop. A magnificent azure vista unfolds in front with far-reaching views of the sparkling ocean and clear blue skies.

A large and curvaceous freeform infinity-edge pool curls around the front of the property, which gives the swimmers a feeling of connection with the vast ocean that rushes toward the foot of the hill. Great rocks protrude through the sides of the pool to further cement the property’s relationship with its environment.

walls are built outward from the great rocks to form the unique villa. A waterfall gushes down from one of these exterior stone walls to make an eye-catching feature at the head of the pool and a relaxing soundtrack for the outdoor lounge areas.

A wicker chair takes up prime position on an island inside the pool, which provides perfect seclusion for reading, contemplation, or meditation in the peace and quiet.

Sun loungers are built into the terrace area beside the curvaceous swimming pool. Custom-made base pads bed down inside a curved recess in the deck.

The expansive pool terrace provides multiple spots for outdoor lounging. Pockets of comfortable seating are situated around it to offer various viewpoints over the beach below.

The seaside terrace also makes an ideal location for a spot of morning yoga.

At night, the wide terrace comes alive with atmospheric outdoor lighting that makes a tempting setting for a party.

Trees in the lawn help to divide up the large deck, softly buffering the pool area from the house.

Inside the modern villa, a modular sofa is pulled up to the retractable windows to take in the panorama and revel in the sea air. Matching ottomans break away to form a conversational seating layout or a footstool . A live-edge coffee table is positioned centrally to hold cold drinks.

The TV stand is situated off to the side of the windows, should the homeowners ever tire of their exceptional view.

The indoor lounge area stands open to a luxurious dining room . A loose arrangement of modern dining room pendant lights span the length of the wooden table, whilst a matching trio of pendants are straightly aligned along a marble kitchen island behind.

The wooden dining table is surrounded by modern dining chairs that seat up to 10 guests for dinner.

The dining room doors can be drawn back fully to connect the dining space with the pool terrace for an alfresco dining experience that is not at the mercy of the elements.

An impressive, wide staircase design sweeps up through the house.

Upstairs, we come to the first bedroom, which is furnished with a romantic 4 poster bed and red accent cushions.

Sheer drapes keep out the bugs when snoozing with the balcony doors open.

Clear glass balustrades fade from sight to leave the dazzling ocean vista entirely unobstructed. This means that the homeowners don’t even have to roll out of bed to appreciate their prime location.

Inside a luxurious bathroom design, the bathtub is raised upon a stone platform where it can best absorb views of the blue horizon. A linear bathroom sink underlines a different glorious view of the lush green hillside. A wide, full length mirror appears to double the room size.

An ensuite bathroom is decorated with bordered jute rugs and natural wooden elements that are not only stylish in the bohemian sense but promote a feeling of relaxation.

In the second bedroom, the rustic stone walls of the villa provide an interior focal point behind a modern grey upholstered bed . Pink flowers bring bright colour and delicate beauty to the unique bedroom decor scheme.

A third bedroom employs colourful African art as an eye-catching headboard wall feature.

Still, it is Mother Nature who rightfully claims the limelight.

White bed linen freshly finishes the luxurious tropical bedroom aesthetic.

A unique bathroom sink commands a small shower room.

In this enviable bedroom suite, a rustic platform bed makes an impressive stage. Luxe golden tassels hang from the 4 poster bed frame.

A wooden console table is custom-made to precisely fit the space, spanning a wood clad wall between the bed and a walk-in wardrobe. White orchids elegantly adorn the hand-crafted unit, alongside a small table lamp that ignites evening mood lighting.

Sea views prevail.

The birdseye view of the property illustrates how the curvaceous pool design is actually an echo of the main body of the house.
