Swedish designer Sara Sjögren creates a playful and lively atmosphere in her interiors by using splashes of colour on a primarily white background. She uses a variety of different shapes which when interspersed with colour make the interiors quite exciting to be in. Her Swedish background is apparent in the unusual ways in how she deals with the furniture. In what could be a boring space is soon livened up by her unique visions....

Situated on the outskirts of  Thiva, Greece, this single story residence with basement was built for a family of four by Takis Exarchopoulos Architects . Accessible by a single, countryside road, one of the home’s most attractive characteristics is its panoramic views of the surrounding farmland and woodlands. The architect created a U-shape design by connecting parallel-piped volumes to semi-enclose and highlight an interior courtyard with outdoor living space. The home’s exterior blends nicely with the surrounding natural elements with its white board planking and stone cladding....

Actor Brad Pitt has partnered with real-estate developer and philanthropist Steve Bing to create low-price, sustainable homes as part of the " Make it Right " project. A set of duplex designs were proposed by 13 of the world’s top architects to visualize and design green, sustainable houses for hurricane Katrina victims.The designs had to be flexible, with “interchangeable floor plans that allow the families to change the size and configuration of the two homes as their family size, needs or economic situation changes....
