New York based creative agency Dbox showcases some excellent architecture in their portfolio. Though they primarily focus on the non residential segment, there are some striking interior visualizations of luxury housing as well. Dbox introduces themselves: It was a class we taught called ‘dialog box, Arch 372’ in the mid 90s. To us it meant something about computer visuals being interactive… being narrative. Only just out of college ourselves, it was an idea about everything we couldn’t articulate but dreamed about in a virtual world of unbuilt architecture and design....

Concrete, natural stone and solid wood build a beautiful 905 square metre modern spanish house, located in Comunidad Valenciana. Architects Ramon Esteve Estudio designed the house as a horizontal program of boxes and sunlight capturing courtyards. The elongated profile is enhanced by a flat roof and a floor that has been raised up 30cm from ground level. The swimming pool stretches flatly across the front of the landscape, forming a perfect reflection of the linear architecture....

This imposing 1,545 square metre property is Casa de Alisa in Nonthaburi, Thailand, completed by Stu/D/O Architects . The project is composed of brutalist style raw concrete architecture with smooth wooden elements held within its frame. The long linear two-story structure solidly splits the horizon between blue skies above and grassed grounds below. A swimming pool glimmers within the concrete boundaries, as if a piece of clear sky has fallen to earth....
