A Studio Loft Which Is A Home And Art Gallery

Located on a quiet street that is parallel to a busy boulevard in Alsancak, one of the most densely populated neighborhoods of Izmir, Turkey, stands an unusual interior conversion. Originally the brief called for the ground and upper floor of this building (which is part of a five story block of flats) to be made into a dedicated photo studio only. During the course of the design process, the client and architect teams Zaas , and Yerce , reimagined the space and agreed that this could go beyond being just a studio....

There are actually quite a few white shades out there ! Paint pots come labelled with curiosities like: Navajo White, Seed Pearl, Silver Lining and Whisper....

Brick Wall Studio Apartment Inspiration

By Rebecca Macaulay This collaborative design effort features the genius of Stephan Jaklitsch of Jaklitsch/ Gardner Architects and challenges how studio spaces are thought of. It does comply with a fundamentally open plan principle, but not out of space-maximizing necessity. It is defiantly grand and reflects a freedom of choice rather than an adherence to convention. This space unapologetically and luxuriously accommodates the modern professional couple, while exuding a family-friendly warmth....

Cavernous Cool Interior

With a neighboring pine tree forest, this home had to embrace a little wood tone within its walls, but on this occasion we don’t find the yellow tones of highstreet pine pieces, but more of a rich walnut hue spanning huge areas of wall paneling, along with matching tables of different sizes. With an overall area of 440 square meter (4736 square feet), this smart but simple interior, designed by Alexey Obrazcov, embraces an open plan living, dining and cooking area where the dwellers and their guests can wander freely between the zones....

Fabulous Modern Themed Rooms For Boys And Girls

There is nothing more exciting than walking into a kid’s room for that radical splash of color, cool toys and a feeling of nostalgia us grown ups often long for. Modern themed rooms however, are typically less intuitive and more focused on injecting color and molding interesting forms and hidden compartments out of the furniture itself. Now if kids knew anything about the quality of Italian products, they would probably lay off the Chef Boyardee (and Dora the Explorer for that matter....
