A chic laid-back energy flows freely from inside to out at this home, where four out of six enormous glass panels disappear, and fresh air fills the open plan space....

Inspired by nature, this 180 square metre minimalist home interior features an all-encompassing earthy colour palette of rich brown and tranquil beige . Textured elements give large living spaces great depth and unique character. The very first YMCA in the U.S. got a face-lift, after " The Apartment " designers completely converted its 7,000 square foot, basketball court and running track into a 5-bedroom luxury apartment. The result is a behemoth-sized, minimalist, but colorfully-decorated residence, that still retains some of the elements of a basketball court (such as the court floors of the bedrooms and walk-in closet, a simple bathroom lined with small, white tiles, and a kitchen so big it could seat and feed two or more basketball teams)....

Have an exposed brick wall, but not sure what to do with it? These three inspirational homes – sized as smaller apartments or more luxurious two-storey dwellers – use exposed brick, wooden paneling and shades of grey to create modern spaces. Each of these urban dwelling visualizations feature quiet neutral palettes, innovative use of wood and texture, and layers upon layers of lighting. All tend to lend themselves to a more masculine repose with subtle hints of delicate elements throughout. Rich woods tend to reign and dominate the living areas on walls, ceilings and floors....
