The adventurous scheme continues over two floors of this 300 square metre family apartment, which is part of a five-storey residential building, and also has a roof terrace (stay tuned for floor plans at the end of the article). ‘House P’ was designed to offer vibrant open plan living spaces that would reflect the personality and positive energy of the young family, in a colour that will create warm light throughout the day....

It’s no mystery why this location was chosen with its endless views of the valley below. An infinity pool adds a serene glamour to the outdoor space while there is just enough grass for feeling it between your toes - even during a drought....

Palm trees whisper in the breeze on this hillside home in Los Angeles, designed by architect firm SAOTA . The luxury residence is located immediately above Sunset Boulevard, situated on a promontory close to Pierre Koenig’s landmark Stahl House. The Stahl House served as a jumping off point for the form and articulation of Hillside’s roof planes, which push forward to cover substantial outdoor living areas. Flowing connection between interior and exterior spaces was conceived to honor 300 degree views of the LA skyline and city basin below, and to link with a unique layered infinity pool....

The Kensington House designed by SHH Architects under the supervision of ‘René Dekker is a vision in itself. The house includes a reception room, large formal dining room, family room, cinema, pool room and six bedrooms. Every room in this London townhouse is like a postcard with mesmerising details and offers generous living space. The challenge for SHH was to create a complete interiors scheme (something ‘Cream, off-white and funky’ was the brief) for the six storey, 1,114 sq m house and you got to say that they did a terrific job here....
