Today we feature the work of 3D modeling and texture artist Shako Gurgenidze and CG artist Dmitriy Schuka . They have created a series of beautiful 3D apartment plans that give you a view of the entire home in just one visual. Each 3D rendering shows entire one-floor apartment spaces that are fully decorated complete with wall art, bright paint, furnishings and fixtures, even patio space for some. Some of the designs are the same concept, but carried throughout one or two bedroom apartments to show how the design can be used in various sized spaces....

Talented visualization firm Studio Aiko brings this design by Gottesman-Szmelcman into such a state of being that anyone who knows Corsica well could almost smell the famous Maquis plants that make the island their home. An extension of the rocky landscape, the villas are the stuff of stone mason’s and glazier’s dreams. Beset by glass they cling to the cliff, suspended in the pool’s reflection of the Mediterranean sky. The process by which this split-level residential space came into being was truly bespoke. Pulltab Design of New York City has intricately woven a dialogue with the owners into the project that references modernist influences and inspiration. The duplex occupies 2,400 square feet and viewing the space from the elevated kitchen, tucked high above the white living area, flooded with natural light, proves a cheerful experience. This home after all, was designed to accommodate a young family and in doing so has successfully incorporated a lightness; a friendliness; a warmth, that is sometimes left wanting in such highly contemporary environments....

Hollywood Talk Show Host and Comedian Ellen DeGeneres is the proud owner of the amazing ‘Brody House’, the place that is considered by most to be the ultimate of LA mid-century modern trophy-homes-and wow it is some trophy! A vision of architectural modernism, the huge nine bedroom home is located on 2.3 acres in Holmby Hills, rubbing shoulders with Hugh Hefner’s famous-or infamous some might say-Playboy Mansion. Named the Brody House after its original owner, art aficionado Frances Lasker Brody, who commissioned the famed Los Angeles architect Archibald Quincy Jones to design it in 1949....
