Our first featured home is a 66.74 square metre home in Lviv, Ukraine, where a sage green modern sofa brings uplifting nature vibes to a neutral living space. A textured rug lays down a sandy coloured base.
A chunky round coffee table brings playful curvaceous lines to the lounge arrangement, and closes off the layout from the neighbouring home office space.
A water carafe makes a simple coffee table accessory.
To allow space for the kitchen and dining area behind the lounge, the green sectional sofa is positioned close and cosy to the TV wall. A white media unit dips low across the lounge to encroach less on the limited space.
Indoor plants are scattered around the living room to complement the colourway of the sofa, supporting it as the star of the show.

The home entryway is openly visible to the living room through a wide doorway. Because of this, the hallway closets have been created in the same wooden finish as the kitchen to create a smooth and cohesive visual.

Moving on to our next featured home design, we explore a 66 square metre interior with a plush mauve sofa design. Blue grey decor tones accentuate the sofa’s dusky hue, whilst black track lights and fixtures contrast sharply with light wood tone walls, doors and panelling.

Sunlight spills onto the modern sofa from a large living room window. A window seats takes full advantage of the deep sills in the kitchen.

The doorway within the wooden volume leads to the bathroom of the apartment. A full length mirror is conveniently situated opposite the hallway closet.

Keeping a clear theme going, a decorative glass vase accessorises the bedside unit.
The bright bedroom window wall has been utilised as a home workspace, with a modern desk and a smart brown leather chair . The arrangement makes an attractive vista through the living room wall.

The walk in wardrobe is situated just outside the bedroom door. Inside, more glass doors keep the main clothing collection dust free and on show for easy selection.

Serenity from the city was the main objective in creating this unique home in Jakarta, Indonesia, designed by Eben Architects . The 550 square metre home is an open and relaxing environment, which combines with two courtyards to establish a tranquil connect with nature. These flowing living spaces give the homeowner an enriching contrast between life at home and their intense work life in the noisy, dense capital region. Slatted timber screens protectively encase the exterior of the house to provide shade and light play inside, plus privacy from the street. At night, the timber screened home becomes a mysterious lantern in contemporary linear form.
Great white sails divide the second story of the modern exterior , providing seclusion from the immediate neighbours and shielding from the street.
Wood slatted volumes filter the sun during hot daylight hours, then stack enchanting lanterns by nightfall.
The series of wooden screens build privacy across the home, allowing the homeowner to freely open windows without the wandering eye of the public gaining views directly inside.
A front courtyard brings lush greenery to the facade, which spills through black coated metal fences onto the street. This first courtyard serves as a unique transition between the busy road and the home interior–an outdoor foyer in which to greet guests. It is also where the homeowner spends time in appreciation of his beloved koi fish.
Garden uplights enchant the courtyard’s foliage, growing a welcoming evening glow.
The fine bars of the black perimeter become interlinked with the building’s towering wood slats, and merge in one vertical stretch toward the sky.
The living room of the house is laid peacefully between the front koi courtyard and a central pool courtyard with a vertical garden , making a green enveloped heart of the home. The room can be opened wide on both sides, linking all three areas as one huge outdoor space.

The wood slatted nature of the exterior is brought across interior expanses to fulfill a restful and seamless cohesion.
Even the floor and furniture seemed patterned with the slats striped aesthetic, as sunlight slices through the gaps. Round nesting coffee tables lead like stepping stones toward the pool patio.
The rectangular pool design links the living room to the dining room, which causes it to become a central family gathering spot for relaxation and exercise.
