Our first home is a 45.5 square metre apartment in Kharkiv, Ukraine. A white living room with a whisper of grey sets a cool and airy tone. The sofa is a tiny sectional arrangement, but a long window seat offers extra seating plus storage. A slim, darker grey wall panel is positioned behind the couch to briefly zone the lounge from the very close dining area.

One section of the small sofa can be rotated for social interaction with the kitchen/dining half of the floor home.

This 46.6 square metre apartment was redesigned for a child-free couple. The main objective of the project was to combine the original kitchen and living room, whilst making space for a dining table. A dramatic graphite colour scheme is uplifted with blue living room pieces like the modern sofa , a round coffee table , and a blue area rug .

A bright seating area is tucked behind a partition from the kitchen. A dining bar runs off the side of this loggia, allowing the homeowners to admire the view over a cup of coffee. The support leg of the bar features custom-cut niches for wine storage.

A blue ottoman is settled in the home entryway, introducing the first pop of blue upon arrival. During the redesign, a serpentine partition was fashioned between the entry hall and bedroom to form a closet niche on each side.

The dining bar also has a view of the TV over the back of the sofa.

Different flooring is installed as a zoning technique. The entry hall, kitchen diner and loggia are all tiled in contrast to warm wooden boards in the living room and bedroom.
