Designed for an engineer with a strong interest in anything mechanical and technological, this dream home started with a humble concept for a rural cottage but quickly grew into something else entirely. And the result is breathtaking! At the beginning of this amazing project, the client only had two basic requirements: that it should have a flat pitched roof and enough room for his collection of cars and motorcycles. After more than five years of planning and collaboration with architect Harald Eppler and the home technology innovators at GIRA , construction began on the fully tech-powered residence you see below....

This chic white apartment interior, designed by Russian Architectural Bureau Alexandra Fedorova , is located in Welton Park, Moscow. Spanning 1,292 sq ft, the airy open layout is swathed in expanses of bright white walls, floors and furniture, cut only by the warmth of rich walnut wood tone. To continue the laid back luxurious style from floor to ceiling, the over dining table pendant light fixture is futuristic yet understated, visually interesting but not demanding of attention or causing distraction....

The IL Lago Bakery and Wine Shop inside the MVL Hotel in Goyang City, South Korea is impressive and commands your view as your enter the hotel lobby. Designed with large sculptural arches and column style shelving and counters, the design is reminiscent of European architecture. Because the shop is located in the back of the main entrance, the designer really did a great job at still calling attention to it regardless of where it was located in the hotel....

To create a home that blends into the natural beauty surrounding it is a challenge in itself. But to build a home that actually incorporates nature - not just in its colors and textures, but it its actual plants - is truly a feat. This residence in Brazil, covered by Casa Vogue and built by architect Alessandro Sartore, manages to do just that by allowing trees that were already growing on the plot of land to continue up and through the new structure....

Approximately 5600 square metres of land in Bandung, Indonesia, became the build site for this luxury family home. Architectural firm Andramatin , known for their clean and modern approach to architecture, designed the IH Residence in solid volumes of raw concrete and vast plains of glass. A huge structure with abundant functions was realised, whilst the vastness of the landscape was retained. It follows the nature of the elongated and sloping site with a long indented footprint, centrally positioned to facilitate cross-ventilation from the town’s cool and crisp climate....

This metropolitan loft in Moscow, Russia is an amalgamation of modern styles by ONI Architects . The homes backdrop has an industrial style vibe, tying in with the character of an industrially developed city. Surface mounted wiring and ventilation are exposed with intention. Concrete walls and metal framed furniture continue the theme but this is where we find an altogether more comfortable style dimension. This is the South Lake House, a 1200 square metre project located in Brasilia, Brazil, completed by architects Estúdio Cláudio Resmini . The 950 square metre residence was originally built in the 1980’s, but in 2017 the house received new owners and a new lease of life during a mass renovation. The level of degradation due to lack of maintenance called for intensive intervention. The architects wanted to preserve the original concept, form and strength of the triangular building design, but adapt it to present date....
